It was founded in 1924 by Demosthenes Fikas with headquarters at 10 Edessis Street in Ladadika, Thessaloniki. It has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Thessaloniki since 1938 until today.

From 1975 until 2004 its legal form was a private company and then became a limited partnership. In 1994 the company’s headquarters moved to Sfagia Thessaloniki opposite the old beer factory FIX at 72, 26th October Street. In 2010 it was transformed into a Public Limited Company under the name “Aristomenis D. Fikas & Co. Enzymes Chemicals A/S Company “. All these years of continuous and consistent presence, the purpose remains the same: products of excellent quality, competitive prices, direct and friendly service.

The Fikas company offers a wide range of products. The main focus of the company is the supply of ingredients and equipment for the food industry, with emphasis on the dairy industry. More specifically, the products provided by the company, in addition to technical support for lab instruments and machinery, are classified in the following main categories:
