The company Fikas, realizing the need for extroversion and internationalization of its activities, imports from foreign countries and factories. The company selects products with excellent quality characteristics, differentiated from those of the competition.

It was founded in 1924 by Demosthenes Fikas with headquarters at 10 Edessis Street in Ladadika, Thessaloniki. It has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Thessaloniki since 1938 until today.

From 1975 until 2004 its legal form was a private company and then became a limited partnership. In 1994 the company’s headquarters moved to Sfagia Thessaloniki opposite the old beer factory FIX at 72, 26th October Street. In 2010 it was transformed into a Public Limited Company under the name “Aristomenis D. Fikas & Co. Enzymes Chemicals A/S Company “. All these years of continuous and consistent presence, the purpose remains the same: products of excellent quality, competitive prices, direct and friendly service.

The Fikas company offers a wide range of products. The main focus of the company is the supply of ingredients and equipment for the food industry, with emphasis on the dairy industry. More specifically, the products provided by the company, in addition to technical support for lab instruments and machinery, are classified in the following main categories:

  • Food machinery
  • Lab equipment
  • Milk-coagulating enzymes (rennet)
  • Dairy Cultures of microorganisms
  • Coatings for cheeses and sausages
  • Cheese-making additives and tools
  • Natural and synthetic pigments
  • Personal protective equipment

Our company is certified according to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 22000:2005.

The Company’s Quality Management System has been developed in such a way that the Quality Policy is implemented and the effectiveness and efficiency of its performance is improved, taking into account the needs and requirements of customers, as well as the applicable legislative and regulatory requirements.

The Quality Management System specifies all the activities of the company that affect the quality of its services and products, from the communication with customers, the understanding of their needs and the preparation of orders to the completion of the assigned project or its continuous monitoring.

Corporate & Social Responsibility

The company Aristomenis D. Fikas & SA, in the context of corporate social responsibility, supports vulnerable social groups, organizes free educational seminars for young people and at the same time, demonstrates a strong ecological awareness by participating in recycling activities.
